Where will our session take place?
Im always open to suggestions on locations however I do have a few local spots that I frequently use during golden hour and love!
What can I do to prepare my kids to be happy for photos?
Change your dialogue about this session. Tell your kids that you are going to fun place where you are going to explore and play together as a family. I want to capture the real and beautiful connections you have, the playfullness, the adventure, the snuggles, the giggles and yes, even the tears! The last thing I want is for you to beg, bribe or yell to get your children to "smile" for the photographer. Trust me and my process!
When will we get our photos?
Processing time for family sessions are around 2 weeks. You will receive a link to your gallery online where you can choose, request edits and order prints. From that link you can download your full size images to your device, share the gallery with family and friends and print as you please.

Can we bring our dog?
Absolutely! This is your family session and your pets are just as much a part of your family as anyone. However, my locations are not always guaranteed to be far enough off a busy road so I suggest bringing them at your own risk, bringing a leash and treats, having the option to put them up for a portion of your session or bringing someone to watch them during a portion of your session.
What if we need to reschedule for weather, illness or some other reason?
We can't control the weather so I will be the first one to reschedule due to iffy weather. I want your images to reflect my work and I personally prefer golden sunset however, some of my favorite moody images have been shot under a beautiful cloudy sky.
As for illness or random other reasons, Im happy to reschedule your session one time and after that I will require a new deposit to hold your date. Each rescheduled date is taking income away from my family and a date away from someone who has inquired.
Do I have to order prints from you?
You absolutely have no obligation to order any prints through me and my website as you have printing rights to your digital files however, I am not responsible for the quality of print when printing from local or online cheap printing sources. When printing something large for your home I would love to share your options for high quality beautiful wall art.
